The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every repair Calder Gate Repair performs is backed by a 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the work we did doesn’t hold, we come back, we fix it, and we charge you nothing for the return visit. No forms to file, no receipts to dig up, no arguing about whether it qualifies. We have the job on file. If it’s not right, we make it right. That’s the whole promise.
What’s Covered
- Our workmanship. If a repair we performed fails within 365 days of the service date, it’s covered – full stop.
- Parts we supplied and installed. Any component Calder sourced and put on your gate is covered for the same 365-day window.
- A free return visit. We schedule the second trip at no charge to you – no trip fee, no diagnostic fee, nothing.
- A full redo if the repair doesn’t hold. We don’t patch the patch. If something needs to be done properly the second time, we do it properly.
- A clean job site. We leave the gate area the way we found it, every visit.
- A written record of every job. You’ll never need to describe what was done from memory – we keep it on file, and so does your tech.
What Isn’t Covered
- Damage from storms, accidents, or events after our visit. If a car backs into the gate or a falling branch bends the arm the week after we leave, that’s a new job, not a callback – though we’re happy to come look.
- Work done by someone else after ours. If another technician or a DIY attempt touches the same component, we can’t stand behind what’s no longer our work.
- Parts the customer supplied. We can install a part you sourced, but we can only guarantee the parts we’ve vetted and supplied ourselves.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install or repair. Older motors, hinges, and hardware age on their own timeline – the promise covers what we touched, not what was already declining beside it.
- Problems we flagged that you chose not to have fixed. If your tech noted a second issue during the visit and you preferred to wait on it, that item sits outside the current promise window. We always flag these in writing on the job notes, and we’ll give you a written price whenever you’re ready.
- Any gate or opener modified after our visit without our involvement. We still encourage you to call us if something seems off – we’ll come look and tell you honestly what we’re seeing.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call us or book online.
Reach us at (903) 417-0793 – a live person picks up, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also book through the site if that’s easier; either way, you’re talking to a human before long.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done.
Give us your name and a quick description of what’s happening. You don’t need the invoice number or the exact date – we pull the job from our end. No receipt hunt required.
Step 3: We schedule your return visit.
We’ll find a time that works for you and give you a live, trackable arrival window – same as the original booking. You’ll know who’s coming and when, not a guess.
Step 4: We make it right.
Your technician arrives, reviews the original work, and fixes what isn’t holding. No charge, no new quote, no back-and-forth. The 365-Day Done Right Promise means it’s already paid for.
Timing
The 365-day window opens on your original service date and runs exactly one year from that day. If you notice something and you’re not sure whether you’re still inside the window, call us anyway. We look at every situation on its own, and we’re not in the business of turning away a customer over a technicality on the calendar. Each Calder location is independently owned and operated, but every location runs under this same promise – no location gets to opt out of it.
Questions About the Promise
If something isn’t clear, or if you’re ready to use the promise, call (903) 417-0793. A live person is there around the clock. No voicemail, no wait-for-business-hours, no form to complete first – just a real conversation about how we make it right.
